This contract is for people entering an agreement with us for making a Memory Doll, Memory Pillow, Memory Bear, christening gown, or anything that would mean the creative destruction of the purchaser's personal possession (dress/clothes).

The following agreement is between Sew Enchanting, Milton, WI, and ____________ (herein known as the "buyer"). Both parties must abide by the rules laid within. This agreement covers the order, shipment, and sewing of Memory Dolls and christening gowns made from the buyers clothes or material.

 1. The buyer's wedding gown, bridesmaid's dress, or other special clothing (herein known as "the dress"), will be used to create a Memory Doll/christening gown. This means that the dress will be taken apart by Sew Enchanting with utmost care and will not be returned other than in the form of a Memory Doll or christening gown as ordered by the buyer.

      a. Sew enchanting has the artistic right to use the dress in the best manner they see fit to make the Memory Doll/christening gown. They will use the most design-rich part for the item that will be returned to the buyer. This means that the dress will be used to its' best ability to make the Memory Doll/christening gown.

2. It is important that the dress be clean in order to find the most appropriate parts to use for the Memory Doll/christening gown. Therefore, the dress must be clean upon arrival at Sew Enchanting. If it is not, the buyer will be charged for the dry cleaning of the dress at the prices charged by the dry cleaner in Milton, WI.

3. The agreed upon price of $______ will be paid to Sew Enchanting by the buyer for the service of making the Memory Doll/christening gown.

a. Half of this amount ($______) will be paid to Sew Enchanting as a retainer fee to begin work. This may be paid by Paypal, money order, cash, or personal check to Kris McDaniel at Sew Enchanting.

b. The remainder of the agreed upon price ($_______) must be paid to Sew Enchanting before final shipment. We agree to send a picture of the finished product to the buyer if desired before final payment is sent.

5. The buyer will pay for all shipping costs to and from the home office of Sew Enchanting in Milton, WI.

a. This will include US Postal Service shipment to and from Milton, WI using the shipping type of the buyers' choice (Parcel Post, Priority Mail, or Express Mail).

b. Shipping must include Delivery Confirmation both ways ($.55 each way) and insurance for the value of the shipment both ways (prices vary depending on insurance desired through USPS - check prices at http://www.usps.com ).

c. If the buyer lives within 15 miles of Milton, WI, local pickup and drop off may be arranged free of charge. Pickup and drop off of distances between 16 and 50 miles may be arranged with a travel fee of $.40/mile round trip.
