A unique gift for the bride - made out of the dress that she picked out!

Memory Dolls are faceless dolls, so as not to take away from the beauty of the gown used to make their dress. The dress itself will be made out of your bridesmaid's dress (Memory Dolls can also be made out of prom or any special occasion dress - anything you want a memory of!), and is long and old-fashioned. Each doll is one-of-a-kind, because it is designed from the dress you have, not from a pattern.

Memory Dolls can also be made from other special occasion dresses - or anything else you might be interested in remembering! 

This was a dress Kris made for induction into a college honor society:

 Very '90's, hey?  :)  It was a really lovely and floaty silk-essence fabric, which I just adored.  It's been sitting in my closet, covered and looked at every once in a while, for about 15 years.  Now, the Memory Doll watches over me in my studio:

Memory Dolls start at $40, depending on handwork involved. Typical turnaround time is two weeks plus shipping time.

Gift tags available if you want to gift the Memory Doll to the bride as a wedding present. This can be sent to you and wrapped so your bride knows what will arrive within four weeks after the wedding! Different sizes available.
